(MENAFN - Morocco World News) Rabat – , the Moroccan ambassador to Cote d'Ivoire, says that the Moroccan embassy has ensured the "best conditions" for the arrival and departure for Moroccan fans travelling to Abidjan to support their during Saturday's World Cup qualifier against Ivory Coast.
In a communique released this Friday, the Moroccan Embassy in Côte d'Ivoire stated that "it took and planned a series of measures to guarantee an arrival, reception, and stay in the best possible conditions" for the anticipated of the national team who will travel to Abidjan to attend the match.
"A reception service to assist the arrivals will be composed of members of the embassy and volunteers from the Moroccan community residing in Côte d'Ivoire," added the embassy.
A medical unit made up of doctors and nurses will be sent by Morocco's Ministry of Health in order to intervene when necessary at the arrival of flights, in the stadium, and during departure. An ambulance service will also be available in the immediate surroundings of the Houphouet-Boigny stadium.
The embassy added that an agreement has been made with an Ivorian clinic to deal with potential medical emergencies.
Shuttle bus services will be also provided for all flights, taking Moroccan fans from the airport to their accommodations or the stadium directly (depending on their arrival times).
Moroccan supporters will be transported to the airport by the shuttle buses at the end of the game as part of a security precaution, added the statement. "Those who will not choose to go by this shuttle service will return to the airport by their own means," added the embassy.
The Moroccan embassy noted that no accommodation of food services will be provided during the Moroccan fans' stay. "We invite our compatriots to take all the necessary provisions to this end."
