Amman, June 19 (Petra)- The Jordanian-Moroccan Brotherhood Committee at the Senate, headed by Abdul Razzak Tbishat, met on Wednesday the Moroccan-Jordanian Brotherhood Committee at the Moroccan House of Representatives, headed by MP Khadija Zayani.
During the meeting, Tbishat said the Jordanian-Moroccan relations are "deep-rooted, distinguished," highlighting the joint keenness to develop them in all fields, especially in the economic, investment and cultural areas.
Discussions reviewed means of enhancing joint cooperation and coordination ties in various fields, especially in the parliamentary domain, and to find wider cooperation prospects.
Tbishat said: more than 60 cooperation agreements exist between the two kingdoms, indicating the strength of ties at different levels.
For her part, Zayani stressed the depth of the bilateral relations, describing them as "historic, distinguished, and credible," and based on the approach of dialogue, moderation and respect.
She called on enhancing the existing areas of cooperation between the two kingdoms and building on them to cover various sectors, especially the economic and investment spheres.
