(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, April 26. The chairmanof the Turkmenaragatnashyk Agency (Turkmen Communications),Khadzhimyrat Khudaiguliyev, discussed the prospects of partnershipin the space industry with a high-ranking delegation of the FrenchAirbus company, Trend reports.
According to the official source, at meetings of the leadershipof the communications department of Turkmenistan withrepresentatives of Airbus, one of the largest aircraftmanufacturers in the world and a leading developer oftelecommunications solutions for the aerospace and transportindustries, prospects for cooperation and the implementation ofjoint projects, including in the space sector, were discussed.
The Turkmen side noted that cooperation with Airbus opens upunique opportunities for Turkmenistan in the field of space, and inthe international context, the development of the space industryplays an important role, and Turkmenistan, having become a reliablepartner of the largest companies, is ready to actively introduceadvanced technologies and promote space research in the region andthe world.
The parties expressed their willingness to cooperate andstressed the importance of long-term strategic partnership in thefield of space technologies, while noting that this meeting marksan important stage in the development of Turkmenistan's spaceindustry and strengthens its status as an active participant ininternational space programs and research.
Meanwhile, cooperation between Airbus and Turkmenistan extendsto various fields, including aviation, the space industry, andinfrastructure projects.
In general, Airbus provides Turkmenistan with advancedtechnologies and solutions in the field of aviation, such asmodernization and renewal of the air fleet, as well as consultingon the development of airports and infrastructure projects.
