(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 26. Masterpass will beintegrated into the mobile application of two major banks ofAzerbaijan this year, the General Director of Mastercard forAzerbaijan and Türkiye Avsar Gurdal said during the pressconference, Trend reports.

“In 2024, we plan to integrate Masterpass into the mobileapplication of two major banks in Azerbaijan,” he said.

Additionally, last year, Mastercard introduced Masterpass aspart of the mobile application of one of the largest banks inAzerbaijan.

To note, Mastercard is an international payment system, thatprovides financial services, including credit, debit, and prepaidcards. It allows its holders to make cashless payments at millionsof points of sale around the world. Mastercard also providestechnology solutions for banks, merchants, and other financialinstitutions. Mastercard cards are accepted in many countries andare used for a variety of transactions, including in-storepurchases, online transactions, ATM cash withdrawals, and otherfinancial transactions.
