(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 26. Azerbaijan'shistorical triumph positively impacts intellectual property,Chairman of the Board of the Intellectual Property Agency KamranImanov said at the roundtable event themed“Intellectual propertyat the present stage”, Trend reports.

According to him, one branch of intellectual property iscreativity, and the other is market activity.

“We conduct analyzes every year. Our historical triumph also hasa positive impact on intellectual property. The analysis shows that717 copyright certificates were issued in 2022, while in 2023, thisfigure increased by 20 percent. Besides, 271 applications forinventions were registered in 2022, while in 2023, this figureincreased by 11 percent.

Moreover, trademarks also see significant growth,” he added.

To note, the roundtable is being attended by officials ofgovernment bodies in Azerbaijan, MPs, employees of scientific andeducational institutions, specialists in this field, and otherpersons.
