Azerbaijani Ombudsperson's Purview Includes Protecting Intellectual Property Rights - Official

(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 26. Protection ofintellectual property rights is within the scope of activity of theOmbudsman of Azerbaijan, Commissioner for Human Rights,Ombudsperson of the Republic of Azerbaijan Sabina Aliyeva said atthe roundtable event themed“Intellectual property at the presentstage”, Trend reports.
According to her, a culture of protecting intellectual propertyrights should be created.
“Enlightenment work is carried out to promote the concept ofintellectual property rights. It is necessary to work on theunderstanding of this concept by society and the formation of aculture of intellectual property,” Aliyeva emphasized.
