Pakistani-Turkish economic committee approved




(MENAFN) The Pakistani government granted approval to the Pak-Turk Strategic Economic Framework, aiming to strengthen and deepen relations with Turkey in the economic sphere.

On Wednesday, Firdous Ashiq Awan, special assistant to the prime minister, made the declaration following talks that Imran Khan chaired on Tuesday when the committee was approved.

According to the official, "this is a big development which would help strengthen our relationship and cooperation with brotherly Turkey."

Awan further revealed that the high-level committee will be consisted of nine joint working groups responsible for handling all economic sectors.
