India reports 65 victims of rain-linked incidents




(MENAFN) Officials declared that over 65 people have died as several more were wounded in rain-linked incidents across many Indian states.

The victims have been recorded in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Bihar, Maharashtra and Manipur.

State-run broadcaster All India Radio (AIR) revealed that 25 victims took place in the Rajasthan, 22 in Madhya Pradesh, 10 in Gujarat and three in Maharashtra over heavy downpours.

India's National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) confirmed that two people have been killed in Bihar.
