Qatar- Ooredoo sponsors MoEHE's Virtual Education Forum


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Doha: Ooredoo has announced it sponsored the recent Virtual Education Forum hosted by the Qatar Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE). The Forum was held recently, under the slogan ‘Visions and Aspirations Beyond Challenges.' Education experts and academics worldwide linked together virtually to share insights, host workshops, and more. Virtual technology was used for the first time in Qatar to facilitate the event.

The simulation featured a large virtual building, with 30 different workshop areas hosting the speakers, who presented on a range of topics related to education. Ooredoo hosted a virtual booth at the event, with its customer service agents ready online to showcase Ooredoo products and services and interact with attendees via text, voice, and video chat.

Products, services, and solutions being demonstrated at the event included SafeToNet, a new online safety technical solution offered in collaboration with British company SafeToNet - designed to help protect children and young people from harm online. Another education-focused service being highlighted was Mozaik Education Solution, a system that integrates its digital tools with existing learning provisions to enhance in-class and distance learning.

Attendees could explore the benefits of Business Mobile Broadband 5G and Microsoft Azure Managed Services, which provide cloud storage, daily operational support, virtual network infrastructure, and advanced services in Azure Public Cloud, as well as advisory services.
