Doha: The Cultural Village Foundation Katara announced yesterday that Mahaseel market will remain open and operating coinciding with the Halal Qatar Festival which will be launched on Saturday.
The Mahaseel market will continue offering different kinds of products including fresh agricultural produce and dairy products from local farms with 35 companies taking part.
Katara has been keen in organizing the annual Mahaseel Festival to support the agricultural sector in Qatar and find ways to market the daily produce of local farmers for the benefit of consumers too.
Mahaseel Festival also featured many educational and entertaining activities aimed toward raising awareness on the importance of agriculture and the best practices in this field.
Meanwhile, the eighth edition of Halal Qatar Festival will launch on Saturday at 1pm in the southern area, after which it will open its doors to visitors from 8am to 12pm and from 3pm to 10pm until February 10.
