Zelensky: Victories In Skies Come At A High Cost, F-15 And F-16 Would Help

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The Air Force of the armed forces of Ukraine are heroically fighting against the Russian invaders using the equipment inferior to enemy's aircraft, so modern equipment is needed. President Volodymyr Zelensky this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
“The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are heroically fighting against the enemy which is significantly superior. They are doing so using obsolete equipment inferior to the newer aerial vehicles of the occupiers. They've already lost at least 500 helicopters and aircraft, yet these victories come at a high cost,” he stressed.
The President also published an English-language video by United24 Media about the work of Ukrainian military pilots and what can help Ukraine achieve superiority over the enemy in the skies, in particular, F-15 and F-16 aircraft.
As Ukrinform reported, from February 24 to November 1, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated about 72,470 Russian soldiers, including 650 invaders over the past day. Moreover, the Ukrainian troops destroyed 2,698 Russian tanks, 5,501 armored personnel vehicles, 1,730 artillery systems, 383 MLRS, 197 anti-aircraft systems, 276 aircraft, 257 helicopters, 1,415 operational-tactical UAVs, 397 cruise missiles, 16 ships/boats, etc.
