China: Benchmark power coal price increases


(MENAFN) China's benchmark power coal price increased faintly throughout the last week.

The Bohai-Rim Steam-Coal Price Index (BSPI), a gauge of coal prices in north China's main ports, hit 598 Yuan (about USD92.51) per ton on Wednesday, an upsurge of 2 yuan week on week, according to Qinhuangdao Ocean Shipping Coal Trading Market Co., Ltd.

Analysts stated the manufacture and transportation of coal have been impacted since the latest resurgence of coronavirus.
