UAE Minister of Education Opens Credence High School to New Academic year


(MENAFNEditorial) HE Humaid Mohammed Obeid Al Qattami, the UAE Minister of Education today formally opened the new CBSE syllabus school - Credence High School - sprawled across seven acres in Al Khail complete with cutting edge academic and non-academic infrastructure



The formal inauguration of the school, promoted by prominent Dubai-based NRIs, was in the presence of Chief Guest, Dr. Abdulla Al Karam, Chairman, Board of Directors and Director General of Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), Guest of Honour, H.E T. P. Seetharam, Ambassador of India and other dignitaries, teachers and parents

"As Dubai continues to grow, we are witnessing a rapid expansion in the number of school places across all curricula. The Knowledge and Human Development Authority welcomes high-quality new schools to Dubai's educational landscape," said Dr. Abdulla Al Karam after the formal opening of the school

Credence High School follows the innovative XSEED programme of learning promoted by iDiscoveri, a widely acclaimed academic solution that focuses on collaborative learning and experiential educational programmes.



The promoters of the school are Dr. Azad Moopen, Chairman of Aster DM Healthcare, MIMS and DM-WIMS, Mr. Nalapad Ahmed Abdulla, Managing Director, Nalapad Group Overseas and Mr. Sameer K. Mohamed, Managing Director, Jaleel Holdings. The school's principal is Mr. Khulbhushan Kain, an eminent educator who has made a mark in the education and knowledge spheres of school education in India



"It is a milestone for Credence today, as it embarks on its journey to create new benchmarks in school education in the UAE, aiming to be a leader in offering quality and excellence across academic and non-academic spheres to foster wholesome development of children with a commitment to the community," Dr. Azad Moopen said



He said the school's value addition to the community will be in terms of its new collaborative and experiential learning methods and aiding the wholesome development of a child based on out-of-the-box concepts.



"We will have internal assessment tools that are innovative and will help measure a child on broader parameters and not just on his learning skills alone. We strongly believe that children should be prepared to face the challenges of tomorrow and our learning methodologies as well as evaluation parameters will be focused on getting the best out of a child," Dr. Moopen added.



"The concept of interactive learning and the excellent modern infrastructure the school has in place is unique in the space of school education in the UAE. We have been able to attract a sizeable number of students in the first year itself and we are confident that the vision we stand for - the complete mental, spiritual and physical development of the child – will stand us in good stead as we embark into the future," said Mr. Nalapad Ahmed Abdulla



Apart from a hand-picked faculty, Credence classrooms come with the latest interactive tools powered by a technology backbone that deploys an array of IT gadgets that are imperative for collaborative and experiential learning.



Some of the features of Credence High School include a library with a museum ambience, state-of-the-art IT rooms, a 5,000 square feet fully air conditioned dance and drama hall with wooden flooring, a highly equipped indoor auditorium spread over 14,000 square feet that can accommodate 1,500 students which will also have sports facilities like tennis, badminton etc" and an athletic sized swimming pool



The school's sports facilities include a football pitch with FIFA approved artificial grass, full length cricket pitch with flood lights, international standard volleyball and a six-lane athletic track including a 100 M dash track
