Deputy Prime Ministerof the Russian Federation Alexei Overchuk discussed with theMinister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan MukhtarBabayev preparation for the 29th Conference of the Parties to theUN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), which will beheld in Baku, Trend reports citing the website of the Russiangovernment.
“The negotiations discussed current issues of environmentalcooperation between the two countries and preparations for theparticipation of the Russian delegation in the 29th session of theConference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on ClimateChange, which is scheduled to be held in the Republic of Azerbaijanin November 2024,” the statement said.
