MAPNA Group increases abroad operations


(MENAFN) According to the general director of the business, MAPNA Group has increased its abroad operations and invested €6.5 billion (USD7.11B) in a number of other nations as Iran's leading contract for steam, gas, combined cycle, and renewable power plants.

According to Mehr News Agency, Mohammad Oliya informed the press on Sunday that the aforementioned investment has been made in a number of projects, covering power plants, renewable energy, transportation, as well as industries.

The represetative claims that the majority of MAPNA's operations in adjacent nations are devoted to building and maintaining power plants, with Iraq receiving the most support in this area.

The group has many energy-related projects underway in Iraq, among which constructing power plants and other electricity projects can be mentioned, the MAPNA head said, noting that so far, contracts for supplying 3,500 megawatts of electricity have been completed in Iraq.

“In addition to joint projects with neighboring countries, MAPNA is also participating in several projects and maintenance programs in Oman, Indonesia, and Pakistan,” Oliya stated.
