Grain Exports: Ukrainian Delegation Arrives In Istanbul For Talks

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The Ukrainian delegation has arrived in Istanbul to hold talks about the unblocking of grain exports.
The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Infrastructure Ministry, an Ukrinfor correspondent reports.
“The Ukrainian delegation, headed by Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov, has arrived in Istanbul to hold talks about resolving the grain issue,” the report states.
As part of the visit, the Ukrainian side met with UN Secretary-General António Guterres. In particular, the parties discussed the UN initiative for unblocking sea ports to ensure food exports and security guarantees for vessels.
Guterres repeatedly expressed support for the unblocking of Ukrainian ports and assured the Ukrainian side that safety is an undisputed priority of the UN. Guterres promised to make every effort to ensure that all parties to negotiations follow this principle.
