Polish leader: Turkiye has 'great role for peace'


(MENAFN) The Turkish leader carried on diplomatic labors for a truce in the Russia-Ukraine conflict, welcoming Polish leader and speaking about the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

In a mutual news session in Ankara, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Andrzej Duda addressed two-sided relations amid the two nations as the visiting leader sent his thankfulness to Erdogan for "sharing all the knowledge" on holding refugees.

The Polish leader stated following both presidents’ conference "Turkiye is a very important state in the region. It has been making a lot of contributions and it plays a great role for peace", and the most "important topic" in their talks was the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

"I know how hard he (Erdogan) tries to ensure that peace prevails."
