Turkey's labor market recompenses impact of coronavirus pandemic


(MENAFN) According to the country's Central Bank head, Turkey's labor market has largely recompense the effect of the Coronavirus pandemic supported by tourism and the re-opening of the services sector.

Sahap Kavcioglu further declared at a finance event in the metropolis Istanbul that the main economic figures in the country were positive in 2021.

He also stated that Turkey and China were the only G20 countries able to raise their GDP in 2020, adding that the positive outlook in the January-June period of 2021 remained.

Kavcioglu added that exports continue to add to the GDP growth, with figures signaling recovery in the labor market
