Ambassador of Qatar in Rome honoured at end of his tenure

Diplomatic Adviser to the President of the Italian Republic, H E Emanuela D’Alessandro received H E Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Malki, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Italy, at the Presidential Palace in Rome, on the occasion of the end of his mission in Rome.
The two parties reviewed the strong relationship between Qatar Italy, and the positive results achieved within the framework of the strong and distinguished cooperation between the two countries. The diplomatic Adviser wished the Ambassador success in his new mission.
President of the Senate of Italy, H E Senator Maria Elisabetta Alberti Casellati, also received Qatar's ambassador at the Gustiniano Palace in Rome. The two parties reviewed the strong relationship between Qatar and Italy, and the positive results reached within the framework of the strong and distinguished cooperation between the two countries. The President of the Senate wished the Ambassador success in his new mission.
Meanwhile, the Protocol Department of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs held an honouring ceremony for Al Malki. The ceremony was attended by Ambassador H E Inigo Lambertini, Head of the Protocol Department of the Italian Foreign Ministry; Ambassador H E Sebastiano Cardi, Director of the Italian Foreign Minister’s Office; Ambassador H E Pasquale Ferrara, Director General of Political Affairs at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and H E Pasquale Salzano, chief international affairs at Cassa depositi e Prestiti. The ceremony was also attended by high-ranking Italian personalities from the world of industry, culture, politics, diplomacy, science, medicine.
