Huawei still wins heart of Philippine costumers

(MENAFN) U.S. president Donald Trump's executive order banning U.S firms from supplying services to the Chinese technology company Huawei does not cause any worry to call center agent Thea Andal.

Andal told Xinhua when she was buying a Huawei 3i on Friday, " it's cheap and high-tech. very stylish." She bought it for about USD292.

Huawei devices run Google's Android operating system, meaning that its users have to rely on popular Google apps and services, but Andal is unfazed. Store promoter Jeony Mondejar said 20 other customers also bought Huawei smartphones today.

Mondejar mentioned " special warranty program " that provides the covered devices with all google play services.

Declaring that Huawei handsets and devices "will continue to function normally." , The Philippines' industry giants PLDT Inc. and Globe Telecom Inc. dismissed the U.S. government's blacklisting of Huawei.
