US Navy to establish detention centers for illegal migrants: report

(MENAFN) The US Navy was unveiled to be setting up for forming detention centers for countless migrants in isolated bases in California, Alabama and Arizona.

The move is part of the military's plan to execute the "zero tolerance" policy President Trump proposed for people caught crossing the southern border illegally.

The plan includes a facility that has the capacity to house as many as 47,000 people at Camp Pendleton, San Diego County, in Southern California, according to a copy of a draft memo of which Time magazine obtained and released.

It was also said to be including another camp for as many people at former Naval Weapons Station Concord, near San Francisco.
