Lebanon: 13Th Flight En Route To Rescue Brazilians


(MENAFN- Brazil-Arab News Agency (ANBA)) São Paulo – The Brazilian government has conducted the 13th flight to rescue Brazilians and their families from Lebanon, which has been under attack by Israel. The KC-30 aircraft of the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) took off from Beirut on Tuesday (26) at 1:07 PM (BRT), with 150 passengers and a pet.

The flight is part of the Cedar Roots operation, which began in October and has already brought 2,513 people and 33 pets safely to Brazil. It is the largest repatriation and rescue operation of Brazilians and their families from a conflict zone in the country's history, according to information released by the presidency .

More repatriation flights from Lebanon

According to the statement, Brazil's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through the Brazilian Embassy in Beirut, continues to be in contact with Brazilians and their families to provide consular assistance and assess the need for additional repatriation flights based on demand and security conditions on the ground. The ministry reports that the consular hotline is available via WhatsApp at +55 (61) 98260-0610.
