Uzbekistan, Russia's Sberbank Discuss Digital Cooperation At BRICS Summit

During the ongoing BRICS summit in Kazan, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with Herman Gref, CEO of Russia's Sberbank, to discuss enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation in the fields of digital technologies, innovation, and education, Trend reports.

The two sides expressed satisfaction with the launch of the second campus of the 21 School in Tashkent, aimed at training highly qualified specialists and engineers in digital technologies. This initiative is expected to significantly contribute to the development of a skilled workforce in Uzbekistan's burgeoning tech sector.

They also highlighted important joint projects focused on implementing effective digital solutions within the banking sector and managing urban infrastructure.
