Kazakhstan And Russia View Cooperation Prospects


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) ASTANA, Kazakhstan, 31 May. Kazakh PresidentKassym-Jomart Tokayev held a phone talk with Russian PresidentVladimir Putin, Trend reports via the Kazakh president's office.

During the talks, the sides discussed the current state andprospects of Kazakh-Russian cooperation, noting its progressivedevelopment in the spirit of strategic partnership andalliance.

President Tokayev highly appreciated the well-coordinatedinteraction between the governments of the two countries on theimplementation of the agreements reached in trade-economic,investment-industrial, and cultural-humanitarian areas.

The presidents also talked about current internationalchallenges and planned their schedules for future meetings.
