(MENAFN- Kashmir Observer) SRINAGAR – Delhi Public School (DPS) Srinagar's Under-14 football team secured a sensational victory in the Inter-Zonal Boys Under-14 Football Tournament, winning the tournament two years running.
The tournament, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, Zone Amira Kadal, and held at Govt Boys Higher Secondary School Sonwar, witnessed an enthralling display of football talent from various schools.
The young footballers of DPS Srinagar exhibited their prowess and determination right from the opening encounter.

In a thrilling match against Burn Hall, they showcased exceptional skills, securing a brilliant 3-2 victory. Undeterred by challenges, the team continued their dominant form, recording an impressive 7-0 win against Oak Hill School in the subsequent match.
With their confidence soaring, DPS Srinagar U-14 boys faced Albani in their third match. Once again, they left no room for doubt, outperforming their opponents with a commanding 5-0 triumph.

With a stunning 6-1 score, they defeated their opponents in style, sealing the championship title for the second consecutive year.
The school's principal, Shafaq Afshan, expressed her pride and joy in the remarkable achievement of the U-14 team, while football coach Mudasir Bashir lauded the efforts of the young athletes.
