Turkey’s daily electricity usage increases by 0.9 percent on Sept. 13


(MENAFN) Based on the official data released on Wednesday by the Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation (TEIAS), daily electricity usage in Turkey soared by 0.9 percent on Tuesday in comparison to the day before, standing at 932,307 megawatts per hours.

At 3:00 p.m., the hourly electricity usage reached 44,003 megawatts per hours. TEIAS figures revealed that the time was regional time (1200 GMT). At 7:00 a.m., the nation's power consumption reached its lowest point of 31,777 megawatts per hours. regional time (0400 GMT).

On Tuesday, 921,101 megawatts per hours of electricity were produced, a 1 percent rise from Monday.

Imported coal and lignite factories constituted by 21.8 percent and 12.7 percent, correspondingly, to the overall generation of electricity, which was produced by natural gas factories at a rate of 29.4 percent.

The nation's electrical exports on Tuesday were 10,373 megawatts per hours, whereas its imports were 21,579 megawatts per hours.
