Doha: Ooredoo's Business division held a one-day joint event with key cyber-security global partners – Akamai, Recorded Future, VMware, Zscaler – to highlight the major challenges facing the sector and to demonstrate the managed security products and services needed to respond effectively and efficiently.
Billed as a great opportunity to meet with Cybersecurity experts and hear of new possibilities for innovation, the event focused strongly on privacy and data security while exploring the changing threat landscape in Qatar and internationally.
The agenda for the event – commencing with introductions from Ooredoo's Hassan Al Emadi, Senior Director Business Accounts, and Mariam Al Khal, Senior Director ICT Product Development – showcased each Ooredoo partner's core initiatives and associated products and services. These ranged from Zscaler's Zero Trust Platform and Akamai's Application & API Security Protector to VMware Carbon Black Application Control & EDR and Recorded Future's Actionable Threat Intelligence.
