(MENAFN) Turkey achieved a 2-0 victory over Luxembourg in a UEFA Nations League C, Group 1 game Saturday.
Hakan Calhanoglu scored a penalty positively in the 37th minute at the Stade de Luxembourg.
Serdar Dursun made the score 2-0 in the 76th minute.
Turkey combined their rein in the group with nine points in advance of Luxembourg, which gained six points.
The Faroe Islands only have three points while Lithuania is at the lowest of the group with 0 points.

In a different Nations League match between England and Italy finished in a 0-0 tie at Molineux Stadium.
England remained at the bottom of Group A, 3 with only two points.
Italy is leading the group with five points.
