SCFA Bandipora beats DP Dhar FA 4-2, claim 3rd spot
SRINAGAR- The National & International Footballers Forum (NIFF) on Friday announced that the NIFF Youth Football League 2021 final between J&K Bank FA and SCFA Srinagar will be played today, Saturday December 11 at Synthetic Turf, TRC here.
The Forum also announced the tournament's top 8 emerging players, which include 1) Suhail Khurshid (Baramulla FA), 2) Siyam Ishtiyaq (DP Dhar FA), 3) Zahid Zahoor (FC Ganderbal FA), 4) Numan Bin Nabi (Kashmir Avengers FA), 5) Ibrahim Imran (Sopore FA), 6) Aqib Ayaz (SCFA Bandipora), 7) Huzaifah (J&K Bank FA), and 8) Junaid Manzoor (SCFA Srinagar).
Earlier, SCFA Bandipora and DP Dhar FA battled it out for the 3rd place finish in the Youth League 2021. The Bandipora academy romped to a 3-0 lead at the end of first half, thanks to goals by Aqib Ayaz (4', 30') and Zaheer Saleem (41'). Aqib completed his hat trick in the 48th minute of second half. 4-0 down the DP Dhar academy boys pulled one back through Ayan in the 52nd minute, before Ahsan made it 4-2 in the 54th minute. However, SCFA Bandipora held on to secure the 3rd place finish in the Youth League.
Aqib Ayaz of SCFA Bandipora was awarded player of the match.
Now all eyes will be on the final between SCFA Srinagar and J&K Bank FA. The match will kick off at 2:00 PM local time. The Youth League 2021 final can also be watched live on NIFF's official Facebook page.
