(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO, Oct 18 (KUNA) -- The Egyptian Ministry of Health said Sunday that 138 people tested positive for the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19), while 11 others died due to the viral illness over the past 24 hours.
The latest figures took the overall infections up to 105,424 and the death toll to 6,120, the ministry's spokesman Dr. Khaled Mujahed said in a press statement.
The number of treated virus patients went up by 90 to 98,247, he added. (end)
