UAE sends 12 tons of food to Yemen

The official WAM news agency on Friday that the UAE has sent 12 tons of food supplements to Yemen hospitals.

The food supplements have been rovided by the UAE through the Emirates Red Crescent, the humanitarian arm in the country.

The aid was sent to the Public Health Office (PHO) in Taiz to help Yemeni children and mothers who are suffering from severe malnutrition.

Deputy Director of the PHO in Al Muzzafar district of Taiz, Ali Saeed, said that the aid is going to help hospitals to take care of the mothers and the children with health problems.
