Jordan condemns Lyon blast

Amman, May 25 (Petra)-- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on Saturday condemned the blast that the French city of Lyon, and resulted in the injury of a number of people.
The ministry also denounced the terrorist attack that targeted a mosque in the Afghan capital, Kabul, and claimed the lives of a number of innocent people.
The Foreign Ministry's Spokesperson, Sufian Qudah, affirmed Jordan's solidarity with the people of France and Afghanistan andin the face of terrorism and violence that target the safety and stability of the two friendly countries.
He expressed his condolences over the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery, stressing the Kingdom's firm stance against all forms of violence and terrorism.
