(MENAFN) China's listed internet companies globally have seen their market capitalization increase in the first quarter of this year.
According to China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), the market capitalization of 172 listed Chinese internet companies has reached about USD1.52 trillion in the first three months of the year, up 27.4 percent month on month.
The surge was attributed to the upbeat global stock market and the increasing number of newly-listed companies.
Among the top 30 listed internet companies worldwide, 11 of them are from China with a market capitalization of USD950 billion.
