Manama, December 17, 2018, SPA -- The Kingdom of Bahrain has affirmed its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in its denunciation of the recent position taken by the United States Senate, which is based on false allegations, constitutes an unacceptable interference in the internal affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and undermines the strategic and strong relations between the United States and the countries of the region.
The Kingdom of Bahrain reiterated its appreciation for the great efforts and contributions of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense, to preserve security and peace and promote development in various countries of the world, the continuation of the historical leadership role played by Saudi Arabia at all Arab, Islamic and international levels, its high position and wise leadership.
It also stressed the Kingdom's political and economic importance, making it the most important pillar for achieving stability in the region and the world, and the strongest supporter of the efforts to combat terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and its supporters and sponsors.
The Kingdom of Bahrain also praised the responsible positions and great efforts of President of the United States of America Donald J. Trump, and his continuous initiatives in the fight against terrorism and the promotion of peace and security in the region.
It also highlighted President Trump's commitment to work collectively with allies, which reflects the strength of relations and mutual keenness to reinforce strategic alliance in order to overcome all challenges.
