Boy, 7, crushed by car 'driven' by 3yro

(MENAFN- News784) (TRINIDAD EXPRESS) - A SEVEN year old boy died after he was pinned by a vehicle in the garage of his home on Friday.

Little Jaydon Tyson was rushed to hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.

Police said on the day of the incident the child was at his home at Warner Street, Egypt Village, with three other children in the care of an elderly male relative.

The relative told police that at around 3 p.m. he heard a ‘bang' in the garage. When he checked, he found little Jaydon pinned between a steel post and the vehicle.

Police were told that a three year old child was in the vehicle. Jaydon was taken to the Point Fortin Area hospital but he could not be revived.

Officers of the Point Fortin Police Station responded and took a statement from the relative.

An autopsy is expected to be performed on Monday at the Forensic Sciences Centre.

When the parents of the child were contacted, they declined to speak to media, saying they preferred to mourn privately.
