Jeddah, Muharram 11, 1440, Sep 21, 2018, SPA -- Asian Sports Press Union/Asian Congress (AIPS ASIA) kicked off here today its meetings in the presence of the President of the International Sports Press Association (AIPS) Gianni Merlo; President of the Asian Sports Press Union (AIPS ASIA) Sattam Al-Sahli; AIPS ASIA Secretary General Amjad Aziz; President of USA Sports Press Union; President of African Sports Press Union; President of Arab Sports Press Union; President of UK Sports Press Union and more than 75 members representing sports media federations in Asia.
In his opening speech, Merlo expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for hosting the Asian Congress.
He further said that this meeting is a positive turning point for AIPS ASIA, expressing his happiness that Jeddah is part of this event.
