(MENAFN - Arab Times) A 21-year old Kuwaiti citizen slew his 26-year old compatriot and set the body ablaze after inflicting several gunshot wounds on him at Um Saffaq camping site in Wafra area. Security sources said the Operations Room received report about the horrifying crime that had happened inside the camp and dispatched a team of securitymen and paramedics to the scene where the charred remains of the victim was found next to a tent.

The body was identified as that of a 26-year old Kuwaiti. The deceased had been shot in 15 different places of the body. In the meantime, the officers detained the watchman of the tent alongside many others in neighboring tents for questioning. Later, the murder weapon was retrieved. The police rushed to the suspect's house and discovered that his parents had already turned him to officers in Fahaheel police station. He admitted killing the victim but refused to give reasons behind the heinous crime, although security operatives discovered that they had scores to settle. Investigation is underway to charge the suspect for murder. The body has since been deposited to the forensics.
