Mardan Police Arrest Main Suspect In Transgender Person's Murder Over Minor Dispute


(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) Mardan Police have apprehended Mustafa, the prime suspect in the murder of transgender individual Salman, also known as Anjuman. The tragic incident occurred a few days ago in the jurisdiction of Par Hoti police station over a minor financial dispute involving just Rs. 300.

The victim's brother, Abdul Rehman, son of Naseeb Ahmed, a resident of Ganji, Takht Bhai, had filed a report against unknown assailants at Par Hoti police station following the murder. Acting swiftly on the directives of District Police Officer Zahoor Babar Afridi, a specialized investigative team was formed to solve the case.

Using a combination of intelligence gathering, modern technology, and relentless effort, the police unraveled the mystery behind the murder. Investigations revealed that a heated argument over a small amount of money escalated into violence, leading Mustafa, son of Abbas Khan, originally from Shewa Adda, Swabi, and currently residing in Fazal Shah Kalay, Fatima Road, Mardan, to fatally shoot Salman in a fit of rage.

Police successfully tracked down and arrested the suspect, recovering a firearm from his possession at the time of the arrest. Legal proceedings are underway, and the suspect will soon be presented in court.
