Kazakhstan Calls For Nation's Air Carriers To Steer Clear Of Iranian Airspace


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) ASTANA, Kazakhstan, October 2. Kazakhstan's Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of transport has recommended Kazakh air carriers not to enter Iran's airspace due to growing tensions in the Middle East, Trend reports.

According to the information, the airlines have been asked to choose alternative routes to ensure flight safety. The measures are taken to minimize risks for passengers and crews of aircraft.

Iranian civil aviation last night announced the cancellation of flights in Iranian airspace until 10:00 local time on October 2.

On October 1, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran let loose a barrage of ballistic missiles aimed squarely at Israel.
