Turkmenistan, Serbia Seek To Unlock Mutual Economic Potential


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 27. Turkmenistan and Serbia have confirmed their interest in realizing the economic potential between the two countries, Trend reports via Turkmenistan's MFA.

The foreign ministers of the nations, Rashid Meredov and Marko Djuric, discussed cooperation during the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

A key aspect of their meeting was the exploration of ways to enhance trade and economic relations, underscoring both countries' commitment to more active engagement.

The ministers also examined opportunities for expanding bilateral ties and strengthening the legal framework for collaboration.

Additionally, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Institute of International Relations of the Turkmen Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Diplomatic Academy of the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
