Countries With Largest Gold Reserves Announced


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 22. The World Gold Council has updated data on Gold reserves in countries around the world, Trend reports.

The reserves of the leading countries in gold and foreign exchange reserves have not changed significantly over the past year. In terms of gold reserves in banks, the United States is in first place with 8,133 tons.

Germany, which ranks second, holds 3,352 tons. Italy is third (2,452 tons), France is fourth (2,437 tons), and Russia is fifth (2,336 tons).

China ranks sixth with reserves of 2,264 tons. The country has increased its reserves by 2 tons in a year.
