60 Million Tonnes Of Cargo Have Already Been Exported Via Ukrainian Sea Corridor


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The cargo turnover of the ports of Greater Odesa has reached 60 million tonnes over the 11 months of the Ukrainian Corridor's operation.

This was reported by the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority on facebook , Ukrinform reports.

"60 (SIXTY) million tonnes! In 11 months, 40.6 million tonnes of grain cargo was exported to 46 countries," the statement said.

Another vessel chartered by the UN World Food Programme, the bulk carrier Manta Hacer, with 25,200 tonnes of Ukrainian humanitarian wheat, is now moving through the Ukrainian corridor to Yemen.

"Despite the war and the enemy's insidious shelling of port infrastructure, including hangars for storing agricultural products, Ukraine remains a key player in the global food security of the world. Especially with regard to grain exports to Asia and Africa," the USPA stressed.

As reported, 57.55 million tonnes of cargo have been transshipped in almost a year of operation of the Ukrainian corridor. 2,059 vessels exported cargo to 46 countries, including 39 million tonnes of Ukrainian farmers' products.
