NBCC Wins Rs 100 Crore Contract From Oil India To Build Core Repository In Guwahati


(MENAFN- KNN India) New Delhi, Jun 13 (KNN) State-owned construction firm NBCC (India) Limited has secured a Rs 100 crore contract from Oil India to build a centralised core repository with advanced laboratory facilities in Guwahati, Assam.

The two companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Wednesday for the construction project. The MoU was signed by senior officials from both NBCC and Oil India.

NBCC stated that they are also in advanced discussions with Oil India for undertaking additional works valued at around Rs 900 crore.

These potential projects include construction of a hospital, group housing, guest house, and installation of solar rooftop panels in Assam.

In recent months, NBCC has won several major contracts, including a Rs 700 crore project from Kochi Metro Rail Ltd for development in Kerala, a Rs 70 crore boys hostel for Hindu College in Delhi, and a Rs 9 crore office-cum-training institute for ICSI in Hyderabad.

As a navratna public sector enterprise, NBCC is involved in project management consultancy and construction of housing, buildings, factories, and infrastructure projects across various sectors.
