Russian Troops Hit Kupyansk, Destruction Reported


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) On Sunday morning, Russian invaders shelled Kupyansk, Kharkiv region, damaging a private house.

"This morning, around 07:00, the enemy shelled Kupyansk. A private house was damaged. There were no casualties," Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, posted on telegram .

According to him, the enemy struck the populated settlements of Kharkiv, Kupyansk, Chuhuiv, and Bohodukhiv districts last day.

As noted, a house and outbuildings were damaged in the Novoosynove, Kupyansk district.

At 23:00, a house and a cellar were damaged by enemy shelling of Kolisnykivka, Kupyansk district.

"Near Huryiv Kozachok village, Bohodukhiv district, a 42-year-old man and a 53-year-old woman, who were volunteers, were killed by a direct ATGM strike on a civilian car," Syniehubov added.

In Odnorobivka, Bohodukhiv district, a recreation park and gas network were damaged as a result of artillery shelling.

Three houses and outbuildings were damaged in Vovchansk, Chuhuiv district, as a result of Russian strikes.

Four houses and power lines were damaged in Vilcha town, Chuhuiv district. No casualties were reported.

Demining works are ongoing in Kharkiv region. Over the past day, the bomb technicians of the State Emergency Service examined almost 7 ha of territory and defused 176 explosive objects.

On the contact line, the Russian invaders made an attempt to go on the offensive in the direction of Berestove, Kupyansk district. They retreated with losses, coming under the Ukrainian fire.
