President Raisi Inaugurates Multiple Projects in Northwestern Iran's East Azarbaijan Province


(MENAFN) Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi recently embarked on a two-day visit to the northwestern province of East Azarbaijan, where he inaugurated a series of industrial, energy, and infrastructure projects, according to IRNA. As President Raisi arrived in Tabriz, the capital of East Azarbaijan, he received a warm welcome from the local residents and provincial officials. During his visit, the president expressed his concerns about creating employment opportunities for the youth and addressing the housing problem, which are among the key priorities of his government for the province.

President Raisi acknowledged the progress made in addressing the housing issue in East Azarbaijan but stressed the importance of completing ongoing measures. He highlighted that providing adequate housing for the population is crucial and emphasized the government's commitment to finding effective solutions.

Among the projects inaugurated by President Raisi were 16 electricity supply projects, a dam, a water treatment plant, seven projects in the health and medical sectors, and several projects in the Aras Free Zone. These initiatives demonstrate the government's focus on advancing various sectors, including energy, infrastructure, and healthcare, to foster economic growth and improve the living standards of the province's residents.

By inaugurating these projects, President Raisi aims to stimulate economic development, create job opportunities, and enhance the quality of life for the people of East Azarbaijan. The initiatives also reflect the government's efforts to promote regional development and address the specific needs and priorities of different provinces in Iran.
