Qatar Stock Exchange Index Begins Yesterday's Trading On Decline

Qatar Stock Exchange index started yesterday's trading with a decline of 12.85 points, representing a decrease of 0.12 percent. Consequently, it reached a level of 10,595 points compared to the end of Tuesday's trading.

The decline of the overall index of Qatar Stock Exchange can be attributed to the negative performance of several sectors. The real estate sector decreased by approximately 0.46%, the consumer services sector by 0.37%, the industries sector by about 0.11% and the bank and financial services sector by 0.07%. On the other hand, the insurance sector increased by 1.15%, the transportation sector by 0.42% and the telecommunications sector by 0.03%.

At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded transactions worth QR135.174m, distributed to 59.446 million shares, with 3.679 transactions.
