Bulgari has opened its first hotel in Tokyo, marking the eighth in the brand's collection.

The hotel occupies the top six floors of a skyscraper in the Yaesu 2-Chome North District, overlooking Tokyo Station.

Bulgari Hotel Tokyo features a blend of Japanese and Italian design by Milan-based firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, which designs all eight of the Bulgari properties worldwide.

Public spaces feature Italian marble, elm wood portals and mosaics inspired by traditional Japanese fabric patterns, while the 98 rooms and suites include contemporary Italian furnishings and locally produced baskets and bedspreads. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer views of the city, while black granite bathrooms are accessed through sliding doors.

Wellness facilities include a 1,000 sqm spa on the 40th floor, which includes a 25-metre pool and custom-designed wooden cabanas.

“Jewellery and hospitality combine perfectly to meet Bulgari's clients' expectations of a high level of service not only in our brand stores, but also when staying in our extraordinary properties, and provides us the opportunity to share the Italian luxury experience, design and creativity in an environment which reflects the Bulgari spirit.”
