Rain Forecast In Jordan's Northern, Central Areas To Tuesday-JMD

Amman, Mar. 18 (Petra) -Saturday will see a slight drop in temperatures, and the weather will be relatively cold almost countrywide during daytime and the weather will be moderate in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
During night hours, the Kingdom is gradually affected by an air depression, and and rain showers are forecast in the Kingdom's northern regions, which will later cover central areas.
According to the JMD report, temperatures will drop significantly with the deepening effect of the cold air mass accompanying the depression centered in northern Cyprus. Rain is forecast in the Kingdom's northern and central regions, which could be often heavy accompanied by thunder, and then gradually light showers cover Jordan's southern and eastern areas.
On Monday, the weather will be rainy almost nationwide and heavy precipitation is often expected in the Kingdom's western areas, sometimes accompanied by thunder.
As for Tuesday, a slight rise in temperatures is forecast with the maximum temperatures remaining below their seasonal averages by about (5-6) degrees Celsius, and scattered showers are forecast in western regions.
Today, temperatures in the capital Amman will hit 17C, dipping to 5C at night, while Aqaba will see a fair 26C, sliding to 12C during night hours.
