Ooredoo Upgrades Roaming Experience For Customers Visiting Saudi Arabia

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Ooredoo has upgraded the roaming experience for customers who are increasingly travelling to Saudi Arabia.
In addition to the great benefits already part of their selected packs – including unlimited data and calling minutes in Qatar, plus generous amounts of roaming data – Ooredoo's Qatarna customers will be provided with an extra 100 minutes of complimentary roaming automatically added to their existing pack, with no further action required.
Customers who choose to activate an Ooredoo Passport will see their benefits doubled, receiving 2GB of roaming data and 200 roaming minutes for QR100.
“We're always looking at new ways to upgrade our customers' experience with Ooredoo,” said Ooredoo Qatar public relations director Sabah Rabiah al-Kuwari.
“Anyone travelling to Saudi Arabia can now enjoy extra roaming allowances for a worry-free stay and to remain connected with friends and family at home,” he said.“Our additions to Qatarna provide further value at an exciting time for customers on their travels.”
The benefits will be added automatically to Qatarna plans, meaning that no further action from customers is required to take advantage of the service.
Ooredoo Passport customers will first need to subscribe using the Ooredoo App or by sending the SMS short code“OP” to 114.
Preliminary figures from the travel and tourism industry indicate a resurgence in outbound tourism to Saudi Arabia since the lifting of coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic-era restrictions.
