The two-day event came as part of the foundation’s ongoing efforts to constantly develop its services, deliver an excellent customer journey, and address all challenges facing clients.
Having that in mind, DFWAC has accordingly launched the "Basma" (Imprint) initiative to improve services provided to customers and remove any obstacles they may face when accessing social, psychological, legal, accommodation, call center, hotline, and empowerment services.
HE Shaikha Saeed Al Mansouri, Acting Director-General of the DFWAC, said that the meeting aimed to directly communicate with the foundation’s clients, strengthening the ties between them, and learning about how best the foundation can deliver its services.
Al Mansouri stressed that the foundation’s top priority has always been to provide 24/7 support, protection, and shelter services for all women and children who have fallen victims to domestic violence, child abuse, and human trafficking, and also to ensure the safety of those clients.
"We are committed to making every possible effort to rehabilitating victims psychologically and socially, and to empower them to confidently integrate them back to the communities," Al Mansouri added.
She stated that the meeting falls under the umbrella of the "Basma" initiative, which features many other sub-initiatives, most importantly annual meetings with external and internal clients in order to understand their problems, needs, and requirements. Additionally, such meetings provide an opportunity for our clients to be an active partner in decision-making and policy-making.
Al Mansouri highlighted that the foundation is keen to debate the most significant strengths and weaknesses in the care and rehabilitation services from client’s perspective to continuously improve services and ensure customer satisfaction.
